Redevelopment building Aeroporto di Urbe

The project concerns the infrastructural modernization of building no. 1 P.G. at the Urbe Airport located on Via Salaria in Rome. The building is part of the airport grounds and is intended for “Accommodation for Military Personnel” to meet the needs of the Unified Defense Center.

The design objective was to achieve a reduction in redevelopment the building’s emissions to a minimum with zero tendency. This objective was achieved through the installation of high-efficiency systems, the transformation of the envelope to achieve low transmission values and the production of energy on-site with the installation of solar and photovoltaic panels, resulting in an A3 energy rating.
