THE PROJECT
The project is part of the recovery program Città dello Sport (“Vele di Calatrava”), designed by Santiago Calatrava and has remained incomplete since 2007.
NEXT-A he was assigned the task of Health and safety coordination performing the Intervention No. 74 related to the Palasport, as part of the project redevelopment Promoted by the Agency of the State Property in view of Jubilee 2025. The intervention involves transforming the Palasport into a’outdoor arena, Through the completion of the stands up to level 2, the addition of new stands and the improvement of accessibility.
It is also planned to build service areas (sanitary facilities, emergency room, offices and technical areas), as well as redevelopment the facilities and external areas. The project integrates Advanced plant solutions (electrical, mechanical, safety and air conditioning) and interventions Environmental sustainability, With the aim of making the space fully functional, safe and suitable for accommodating events for up to 15,000 people.
