THE PROJECT
The project, winner of the design competition, proposes the redevelopment redevelopment of the area through the creation of a new public square, conceived as an active center for cultural, civic, and service functions. Around this new collective space are organized the new buildings, giving shape to a unitary urban system that is legible and recognizable. The intervention aims to strengthen the centrality of the area and to improve the quality of public spaces, restoring the city to a location relationship of connection, encounter, and participation.
