THE PROJECT
The project falls within the scope of the Program of interventions of Jubilee of the Catholic Church 2025 and consists of a project of redevelopment civil engineering, structural engineering and plant engineering of the building, located in Piazza della Repubblica in Rome, currently home to the Faculty of Education Sciences of the’University Roma Tre.
The complex is planned to redevelopment be built through a re-use and conservation intervention, Without substantial changes in current usage destinations, which combines the themes of Monumental protection with those of the Cultural enhancement.
The intervention, due to the nature and urban location of the building (in the historic center, in the monumental area of the Terme di Diocleziano), contributes to a broader project of “rebuilding” of an entire urban area: an exceptional historical fabric that includes testimonies among the most important and prestigious for the stratified history of the center of Rome.
