The project for the prospective TID (Touristic Integrated Development) area of Durres, sponsored by the Albanian American Development Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Durres Municipality, aims to unlock the full potential of the central archaeological area of the town (which includes the Roman Amphitheater, the Castle, the Venetian Tower, the medieval Hammam, the Ethnographic Museum and other historical sites).
It is a physical and managerial transformation of the territory, which not only increases its attractiveness but also alters its touristic offer for tourists and visitors.
